GEOMAP GIS’ flagship product, Geomap GIS is the State-of-the-art technology originally built over AutoCAD Map 3D and MapGuide and now offered on other GIS platforms such as MapGuide open source, MapInfo and ArcGIS. Geomap GIS allows users, through a Web client or on a desktop platform, to create, update, modify, publish and share geospatial information and technical data. Completely opened and customizable, Geomap GIS adds functionalities and integration capabilities to Autodesk’s product line and other geospatial platforms. Geomap GIS also integrates with legacy enterprise systems to add geospatial capabilities to those systems.

GEOMAP implements the most recent concepts in geographic information systems and web mapping by adopting current technologies and interoperability standards.

The Quebec Local Chapter of OSGeo is proud to announce the first edition of Rendez-vous OSGeo Quebec which will to take place in Saguenay, Quebec, on June 15-16, 2010. The date of the event also coincides with the second anniversary of the local chapter which was created following a meeting at the same location in June of 2008.

The MAMROT announces its new SIGAT Geo

To redesign its existing web portal SIGAT Geo, the Ministère des Affaires Municipales, des Régions et de l’Aménagement du Territoire (MAMROT) has chosen a combination of the following technologies: Geomap GIS, Safe Software, Oracle and some Open Source components. This project’s objective was the modernization of data exchanges through the web, as well as the publishing of geographical information.
